The two best sets of costumes belong to Hulk (Classic, Original Grey, Planet Hulk and Mr. The characters that really matter come strapped with some of the better dudes. It's not really Raven's fault that there's little you can do with a character like Venom. The alternate costumes are a bit hit and miss. While there are obvious similarities between the powers for some characters, each feels original. The initial concern that Hulk would be a clone of Thing and Nightcrawler would play like Deadpool are put to rest after just a few minutes of play. If you are certain that adding Magneto or Doom to your roster is reason enough to pop MUA back in your 360, then you are in for a good time. And for a $10 charge, playing a six-month old game as Venom or even Hulk seems perhaps a little overpriced. You get plenty of quips from each character, three alternate costumes per hero/villain, and new dialogue responses tailored to the characters. After spending a few hours playing with the new characters, it's not an easy purchase to recommend.įirst off, Kudos to Raven for giving us eight fully-realized characters who are equal to (and sometimes greater than) the original characters offered in MUA.
